   "Jack Wikoff, 45, a self-proclaimed white separatist from Aurora,
   New York, and frequent contributor of book reviews to the _Journal
   of Historical Review_, began his own anti-Semitic 'revisionist'
   periodical, _Remarks_, in August 1990. The first issue, ostensibly
   commenting on issues such as German reunification, the prosecution
   of Nazi war criminals, and the resurgence of 'nationalist' politics
   in Europe, established a theme the publication has expounded upon
   ever since: 'Taludic Jewry is at war with humanity. Revolutionary
   communism and International Zionism are twin forces working toward
   the same goal: a despotic world government with the capital in
   Jerusalem.'

   Fellow 'revisionist' Bradley Smith commented favorably on the
   journal in a letter printed in its second issue. He wrote,
   'Congratulations. You're entering the fray step by step in a [sic]
   orderly, sensible way, a way that you can build on. You're a good
   writer, understand the value of brevity, and you read the
   literature.'

   Later issues have reprinted cartoons from _The Spotlight_ and from
   a gutter-level magazine titled _Jew Watch_, published by the Texas
   Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, and have featured guest editorials on
   subjects ranging from a comparison of Hitler's economic policies
   with Roosevelt's ('...in their missions in this regard, Hitler was
   a huge success and Roosevelt, in spite of his New Deal, was a
   failure.'), to an endorsement of David Duke's failed 1991 campaign
   to become governor of Louisiana.

   The Holocaust, however, remains the dominant theme of Wikoff's
   articles and those of his contributors. One such feature, by Paul
   Grubach, a biology graduate student who has also written for the
   _Journal of Historical Review_ and the Holocaust-denying _Christian
   News_, was titled 'The Holocaust - A Life-Threatening Doctrine: 
   Revisionism, Now More Than Ever!' In it, Grubach suggested that
   Israel and the Holocaust were the only factors which brought
   American troops to the Persian Gulf War: 'The Holocaust doctrine
   has been used...to promote war policies which culminate in the loss
   of life. In this sense, it is a REAL threat to human life... Even
   if by chance the Holocaust doctrine is true - why should Americans
   have to shed their blood for Jews in Israel? Let the Israeli Jews
   tend to their own problems.'

   The ninth edition of _Remarks_ included a flyer appealing to
   supporters for donations. In the flyer, Wikoff ascribed his
   difficulties in finding a printer for the magazine to 'pressure
   from the local Jewish community.' (ADL, 26)
